After graduating from Nicosia Fine Arts High School, Caymaz pursued his studies at Near East University and Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University.  He works as a multi-dimensional artist with practices in different fields such as theater and literature. Caymaz, who came up mostly with figurative works, carried out research about the 'child image in picture' which was also the subject of his master thesis. The child image used by the artist, who also places the aforesaid image at the center of his own paintings in many different ways, is usually a boy. Having transferred scenes from his own childhood to the canvas, Caymaz also aims to practice on objects of pure imagination. The artist's paintings not only show happy childhood scenes, but also a wide range of emotions that reflect child psychology. Among these, many different faces appear with different emotions including shy, resentful, angry, happy and confused. As it can be seen in the examples in the collection, the artist presents an integrated composition to the audience with the innocence and realism in the facial expressions and gestures of the children, the bright and vivid colors used and the scenes that appear out of a fairy tale.
